Spoken like a true DALPA/ALPA/management type. This post is totally false and a complete mischaracterization of what the NMB is about. But isn't it sad to see what is likely DALPA's position PRIOR to negotiations. Don't even bother bringing up the fact that you'd like SWAPA's scope language because, after all: "the NMB is smart enough to understand that SW management has never wanted RJ's."
This is so sad. Whatever excuse that can be used, no matter how tortured, make sure to use it to ensure that we don't use SWAPA for any comparative purposes. I'm only less depressed because I'm absolutely convinced that this level of managerial apology only exists within a small minority of line pilots and most of DALPA.
