It will be kinda like my term life insurance policy I kept current from UAL... I won't rule the CAL option completely out, but I sure hope I don't have to use it!
My new job has turned out much better than expected, but as both of us know all too well, things are very dynamic in this industry.

I think I will keep it as insurance as well. My current job has turned out better than expected, even though its not flying. I'm too old to commute to reserve and I can't afford the pay cut
. I'll wait for a real recall, a real contract, and age 65 retirements to start(only 16 months to go
).
