They called me for an interview. I've had a couple recommendations there since before I started here. I'd be remiss if I didn't explore my options, though I don't know if I could afford the pay cut. I've flown 5 hours in the last month and a half though, so I honestly just want to go someplace I get to work and not sit around. I have no idea if I'd bail if they offered though. It'd be tough.
I didn't realize the pay was that different at Skywest. Does Skywest have better bases for where you want to live? If you do go to Skywest you also have to sit through weeks and weeks more of classes and training. The future does look bright there though. One other thing, you have to decide how it would look on your resume making lateral moves when a furlough was not involved. If hiring does pick up at the majors then you will gain seniority at any regional, not just Skywest.
