After I interviewed, I received an email offering me the job literally 30 minutes later on the van ride back to airport (I was the last one of the group to finish that day). They offered me a CRJ July 25th class or a CRJ August 29th class, and I took the August 29th. I remember at the interview, they said that they really try their hardest to give you more than 2 weeks notice so you can notify your current employer.

Hope this information helps! Good luck!
Yes it does help. Thank you!

Well, I'm the most junior CA in DEN and I wish I had an answer for you. I've been here just over 6 years. I upgraded to MKE and was lucky to transfer into DEN shortly after the MKE base closure and just before upgrades began again. As far as reserve time? It's been since FEB 2010 and I'm looking at years to go. If I left DEN, I would be 41 on the list to get back in. DEN is only 200+ strong. It is starting to get very senior for CAs. With PHX announced, I see only about 8 DEN guys going to PHX, so that is not creating much of a void. There are a ton of DEN FOs waiting to upgrade ONLY to DEN.

As to a COS fo, I know that two people from the April class are holding lines in COS with 14 plus days off.

I just left COS for DEN. I was a junior lineholder in COS at just under 7 years seniority. The junior CA there is about 6 years. I should be able to hold a line in DEN, but am not 100% sure. Up until recently COS was more senior than DEN for Captains but recently it has taken about 7 years seniority to get into DEN and 6 to get into COS. With the opening of the PHX base both DEN and COS will go more junior. They haven't awarded the bids but looking at the list it looks like DEN will lose several Captains to PHX and also backfill into other bases out west (LAX, FAT, TUS, SLC).
