One of the biggest parts of that failure is in communication. ALPA spews lots of information, but it's not true communication unless . . .



There is a bigger communication failure at ALPA. Communication is about building and fostering relationships. Blasting out lots of information is not communication. Right now the relationship ALPA has with the Delta pilots is poor. Trust is low, listening is poor, give and take is rare; the ALPA leadership is trying to run the Union like unions were run in the past, ie, "Trust us, we know what is best for you and what you need to know."

Sorry, those days are gone. That is not the real world.
