Default Help an "old" "rookie"

One other thing, you have to decide how it would look on your resume making lateral moves when a furlough was not involved. If hiring does pick up at the majors then you will gain seniority at any regional, not just Skywest.
I have an interview with SkyWest on Weds. I have never flown for any airline--just retired from 21 years of flying for the Air Force (KC-135s, C-130s, and a 737 type rating from HPA). My ultimate goal is to catch the "major wave" next year, but I'm thinking this will be good to keep me current. Your remark about how this might look on my resume has me mildly concerned, but I still think SWA would much rather hire me after flying for SkyWest for a year, rather than sitting on my a$$. Thoughts??
