Good day all. I would have searched the forums for this, but as the sticky says, "lurkers" have limited access. So, time to post.

I have a friend that I have been mentoring who was recently forced to resign as a 135 captain. He is obviously very distraught, and would like some help.
I have no experience with this, and don't know what to tell him. The reason for his forced departure has nothing to do with airplanes, (no violation/incident), but he doesn't know how to explain his sudden unemployment status to prospective employers.

If I've posted in the wrong forum, please let me know were I would receive better feedback. Any input is appreciated.
