No offense to Airtran guys, because a good friend of mine is a CA there, but Delta manuals and training would be completely different than Airtran's. All Delta's manuals are in a certain format - it would make for a difficult transition to use another airline's style of writing and procedures.
CAL flies all models of the 737 and there is a huge difference in the -500 and -900 models. They routinely fly both types in a single day.
