I was just pointing out that CAL too has both a domestic and an international requirement for 24 hours off. CAL's is just like UAL's domestically: 24 hours off in base w/ an attempt for it to be a calendar day. Internationally, the rest can be downline at an outstation.

All of us at CAL know as soon as we go to an "international" destination and have a 24-hour layover, a pilot could be in for a world of hurt going forward. Was not debating that premise at all.
One calendar day off in seven. Arriving at home from an ID at 1700 and going out the next day at 1800 does not count at UAL...It has to be a calendar day off in seven domestic
