The practice of bending over a dollar to pick up a penny, that we all see, needs to end!!! Our personal time is important and every aspect of our personal time needs to be compensated....PERIOD!!! Hopefully by the end of the month the Omni pilot group will see what is possible and vote accordingly. Again, Thank you for your insight.
I'm glad any information I can add is deemed useful. I've been doing some reading around on various sites discussing your TA. I have to say, some of the conspiracy talk, while somewhat shocking, it's not much of a surprise, or really new, when it comes to Jeff Crippen.

I make no accusations, just stating facts. Ryan, when under leadership of Jeff Crippen, ratified a horrible first contract under a threat of being shut down. Within months of that vote, our MEC chairman no longer worked at Ryan and opened his own GM franschise car dealership in a small town in Kansas.

Now, I'm not saying anything inappropriate happened, I'm not saying it didn't happen, I'm just stating the facts of our situation. We voted in the POS contract, the company threw a party at HQ, and we suffered over 6 years until we were able to right those wrongs. One of them being the new owners of the airline terminated Mr. Crippen!

Let me be clear, I know nothing of the situation at Omni, nor do I make any accusations towards your union leadership, or do I know anything more than what I've read about this alleged "inappropriate" meeting in Hawaii. I just find it interesting, conspiracy seems to follow Jeff Crippen everywhere he goes.
