The lady in scheduling said, "so are you calling in sick for that last out and back?" I said, "if that's what you want to do that's fine with me, I'm just telling you that I won't be there for that last out and back so do whatever you have to do."
I was on a layover in CAE when I got my notice of a class date in 2 weeks. After I calmed down I called the CP office to give my 2 weeks notice only to have the ACP tell me it had to be
in person. I argued since I just got the call and was in a trip but he held his ground. So I said "OK. To give you the notice in person I'm now sick. I'll non rev in and you can find someone to finish my trip". He was silent for a bit. He then said it would be OK for me to give him the notice over the phone with a letter in person when I returned.
Sometimes their logic escapes me.
