Everyone knows UPS will still have pilots on furlough or will be threatening to do it again so talking about them here just comes across as a loud buzz.
I predict a revolving door at UPS when, or if, hiring starts again.
I'm sure management will be livid and am looking forward to it.

The wonderful
part will be the IPA not putting a thing in their contract to help prevent future furloughs. So, yes, they are complicit. Just like many ALPA pilot groups. They don't give management a mechanism to deal with a slowdown.
