I received the short tour credit last December for 300
Overseas TDY days in 18 months. The new rules removed the 179 days overseas credit towards short tours. Other than 300 days in 18 months the only other way is 548 days in 3 years. I think the the effective date was either June or July of their year. I remember reading the message via an email sent to our squadron last spring.
