Pay during training is $250/week plus per diem. They put you up in a hotel, like a Springhill Suites or Residence Inn.
Not sure on competitive mins, it's all about internal recommendations. Our new-hire class ranged from 3,000hrs to 8,000hrs with varying backgrounds.
