The Capt. is just as much at fault...No matter how stupid the company is when safety is in question the Captain needs to act. He should have gone over to Signature or whatever FBO is on the field and off loaded the plane using their air stairs..
If needed blow the slide that's what it is for...
7+ hours is Ridiculous use some common sense...
I hear ya...but you know how it most likely happened...the company and airport kept telling him 30 more minutes...fuel is on the way....you're next. Before you know it, there goes 7 hours of saying "I'm gonna do something if they don't get back with me in 10 minutes"
Also the aircraft was stuck between two other planes with unplowed movement areas...hence him requesting a tow.
That being said, It's still a bunch of crap! We are better than this!
