That might work domestically for about 2 weeks, until the manglers all time out, but you can't move international volume by truck. And that's where all the profit is for UPS. In 97, the Teamster strike ended about 1 week too early in my opinion, because Atlanta never got to feel the pain of having no way to move their intl volume as the manglers were about 3 days from their FAA max time for the 30 day period.
