UPS-IPA talks fail

This leads to the only logical conclusion. 8man is not ups mgt. These posts are too easily tracked and he/she would know that. These posts from him/her would certainly come under UPS's anti harresment policy. If this was a mgt pilot he/she would be fired for this sort of behavior in a public medium.
This is merely a issue of someone who derives pleasure from degrading others.

"That could cause a terrible situation with legal consequences"
Why? What sort of legal consequences? Are there really laws that protect the privacy of posters at an internet message board?

Or how about this one: My buddy works in IT. I could have him run an internet records search for this website on all the employees in the training center (only takes minutes to do). If someone logged on and posted from a UPS computer, which they probably did, they're done, fired, end of story, intern or management it doesn't matter. Why get our friend JS involved if we can do it officially from the inside? All it would take is one time posting on this site from work and it is logged for good and a severe violation of the UPS electronic communication policy. Is it worth someone's internship/future or career? Not yet. I hate to be this way, ATEMENOUT, but I think it is time you found a different venue to express your stupidity. Perhaps I'm wrong and this was done outside of work, however, there is really only one way to know for sure......

The anonymity of our users is a matter of OUR policy rather than a legal obligation. That said, we value the privacy and anonymity above all. We will not under any circumstance voluntarily "out" any user regardless of how we feel about the content of a post. Of course we reserve the right to close, delete, or otherwise moderate a post or thread for any reason.
I would caution users that we could be forced to cooperate with law enforcement and or court order. Slander and Liable come to mind as potential causes, please type carefully.
My request is that unions keep the negotiations at the table, keep in mind that this IS a public forum with about 35,000 unique IP visits daily. The world IS watching gentlemen.
And to that end, this thread has turned into rather unproductive witch hunt, let's move on.
