Imagine the reverse.
Since pilots from these varied companies do move on and up, imagine when a prospect is asked during the interview if he has any opinions of airlines that have policies in place similar, or even pay as low as they do, and when this applicant answers truthfully (because you wouldn't lie in an interview would you ), they are summarily shown the door.
Take this to any level of personal hiring wars that you want too - airlines that certain people don't like and make comments about starting jumpseat wars, etc...
