Sorry if I'm wrong.

Guys, please try to get on elsewhere first. I'm sure there are plenty of great guys from GIA that's sitting fat, dumb, and happy now but sometimes chasing upgrades while sipping on ramen noodles isn't worth the risks and sacrifices.
Thanks man however it I was working for Colgan and shortly after leaving they crashed. Not GIA also I am not chasing anything I am a Captain 2 weeks after arrival on property

Most FOs at decent regionals past few years are qualified to be hired as street captains at GIA. Which means if you go there, you're chasing upgrade unless you were a capt at colgan hope it works out for you! Get your PIC and get out! In many ways, that's a smart decision, but for most of us, it's not a viable option.

I was talking to guys that are applying for their first 121 gig. Not sure what the pay rates are or the QOL but it can't be good. Had a smoke with GIA FO on a turn few months ago and he was ready to bail to another regional. I'm not too fond of my regional but it hasnt gotten to a point where I would start over elsewhere. I have nothing against any pilots, its the management that I frown upon. Best of luck.

I got near 90 on the written, told I got a yes on the sim test etc. So now just waiting for confirmation for a class date. Sounds like you get notified via email from what I read here...do they call you or anything besides an email?

How long does it typically take to receive confirmation? I am hoping to get into the 30th class this month!

Thanks for all the info everyone!
