Cruz, Archer: I wish I was there with you. But I turned down an interview because they werent technically hiring street captains. I was very interested in Billngs, learning a new plane, and flying in the snow
. I think about it every day now whether I made the right decision. There was too much unknown with starting off as an FO and potential for losing so much that I have right now. Anyways...I hope you guys have a great experience and are happy. I hope to not regret my decision. Keep your head in the books and your head out of the bars. Then you can keep your head in the bars as often as one finds fit.

No. 24 mo training contract. You leave early, you owe whatever is left. No 300.00 per mo or anything else. Good chance to upgrade during that time. If you don't like a training contract, then of course you wouldn't apply.

It actually doesn't sound like a horrible offer. I applied and got the invite for the interview (3 days before the actual interview and I live in NY so I passed...) But if theres future classes/interviews, I may consider it. I'm just not sure if I'm fond of getting $1000 taken out of a ~$1500 paycheck...Not much left to pay the bills...

Who cares which crappy regional a guy goes to? You guys are playing "My crappy regional is better than your crappy regional". I know a guy who did PFT and took a $10/hr job at the worst regional in the country at the time. Now he is a senior captain at a major with another 20 years to retirement!
Today's worst regional may be tomorrow's best regional to work at. Pay changes, code shares change. Get off your high horse and let people get on with their career. It's all about timing and seniority. Regional pay is ALL the same: low.

Oh ok. I didnt understand the whole "pro-rated" term. So basically, they pay for training, if your there for 24+ months your fine, no money taken from you, full paycheck, etc. But if you leave early, you cover whats left?
