1900 has an autobriefer plus PA; the FO pulls double duty as FA (sort of) and helps the passengers during boarding and deplaning. From my very short time here what I've learned is that flying is just a very small part of the equation. It is unlike any flying I've ever done before and to be honest I have no idea if I'll like it or hate it if/when I hit the line.

Cruz the 1900 is my favorite plane to fly and being the FA just makes your future jobs easier if you end up hauling pax because you understand the back more than most jet jocks. I still remember the death grip from grandma when we were holding trying to get in she wanted us to tell her family she would be late. I think I still have the bruise on my shoulder don't mess with those NY elderly

There is guys with the time to upgrade right away I don't know if they will. They bid for it so who knows maybe they will get it. Either way I don't think it will take long for them to get it. Less than a year is my best guess.

Valid ATP written and FCC license is what they require. I dont think they waive for it as they asked me for it during the interview. Go knock out your ATP written, get the sheppard air program and study it up. FCC license is an easy online app, I think its still $70. Good luck

Mexi, did you get the job and a class date? We just finished up systems and I have a week off until I start sim prep. The FCC RR is a definite, but not very many people in my class have the ATP written done. Ill do the sheppard prep once Im on line.
