Sent it to the email and I faxed it as well. Called Stuart about a week later to confirm he received my stuff and he sent me an email with dates back in early december. Probably dont expect too much progress until after new years.

To the guys attending class after us, show up with a Pilot's Flight case. They want a black leather or balistic nylon hard sided flight case. I recomend something with the telescoping handle and wheels on it. All the manuals and stuff we are given, it gets heavy hauling a case everywhere. Also a 2 D cell flashlight (maglight type). They dont mention it in the email about attending class, but while here they wanted us all to have it. Hope you saved some cash as well, as itll be a while before you're paid.

That was my next question, what to bring to training...But what is the flashlight for?? I guess just bring a notepad/notebook also? Laptop? Kneeboard? Headset (I doubt you need it in the sim, but you never know)..

Unless you have superhuman night vision, it's for the preflights you'll be doing when that great big orb o' light aint up in the sky to light your way..

Why? No pay during training?

I'm assuming its the delay of your first paycheck. At my current airline took a month to get my first paycheck. (paid 2 weeks behind).

Besides the flight case, they recommend a crew bag as well for trips? I dont know how many overnights up north you usually look forward to (per diem $$).

For those of you who have the flight case with the wheels, any issue attaching it to your crew bag? Dont know how well those adjust to overheard bins while commuting, since the age of no more free check bags bins are golden real estate on mainline commutes.

This was something that fell through when 3M was awarded the EAS flying out of MEM. They later re-tracted the bid I guess out of cost or something of that sort. DL was trying to drop some EAS flying out of MEM and 3M attempted to pick it up. No deal
