There are two schedules: 8 days on 6 days off, or 15 days on 13 days off. Your off time is your own, and you may plan your life any way you like. Rotations are bid for a year in advance, so you'll see exactly what days you are working and those you have off. You'll usually be away from home for you entire "on" rotation.

I like those two options a lot, but do I understand correctly that you bid one of those two schedules and you're stuck in it for a year?
Also, can you change domiciles or gateway airport at whim?
