You asked for what was lost from each employee group and longevity is a huge 'cold hard number' for us furloughees. C2003 wiped out the furlough protections in C2000 (which were blatantly ignored after 9/11 anyway). The actual amount obviously varies between individuals, but for me after the first furlough, it was 20% less pay because of longevity lost (others were much higher). For this furlough, it's also dependent on when individuals return. I'm approaching my 12th year, but I would be paid 7 year pay...does that count as 'cold hard number' or is it just a 'complaint sheet'?
