You asked for what was lost from each employee group and longevity is a huge 'cold hard number' for us furloughees. C2003 wiped out the furlough protections in C2000 (which were blatantly ignored after 9/11 anyway). The actual amount obviously varies between individuals, but for me after the first furlough, it was 20% less pay because of longevity lost (others were much higher). For this furlough, it's also dependent on when individuals return. I'm approaching my 12th year, but I would be paid 7 year pay...does that count as 'cold hard number' or is it just a 'complaint sheet'?
No those aren't the numbers I'm looking for. I'm looking for the % that each employee group lost in the first and again in the second round of pay cuts only, and not what many of us lost due to being bumped, lost seniority, or furlough.
So, I'd say your info is "complaint sheet" stuff, not that it's any easier to deal with. Beer's on me when you come back, as it will be for any other furloughees.
