Airlines write their own procedures and limitations, you will end up just confusing your self and getting things messed up. If anything go and read the 121 FAR and AIM, but GIA might have stricter rules than the 121 FAR so again don't study anything that is company specific. The airlines write their own manuals and might explain the system different and this could lead to confusion as well. Please put away the Lakes profiles, they will be different that GIA. At Eagle we have 2 operating certificates and on T/O we do the landing gear retraction call different. Something that simple can trow you off on V1 cut and there goes the check ride.
Thanks for the advice. I've passed on studying their info for the same reasons you suggested.
