Riiiiight. So, because you worked at GIA means that you have no ethics, huh? Really....? I flew there back before 9/11 and flew with many, many, many stand-up ethical guys. Probably more ethical than you and I don't know you from Adam. Guys that now work for UPS, Delta(former NWA too), FedEx, SWA, NetJets, CitationShares, blah blah blah... The list goes on. Obviously, they weren't ignorant or lazy, because they are all working for the companies that most guys want to work at. If they were lazy or ignorant, they would probably be lifers at the Stream. I for one worked my ass off there, so that I could move on and get out of there to bigger and better things. It was a stepping stone, one of many in the airline world. And GIA was not the first, not will it be the last place where pilots will PFT. And for those of you that like to compare doctors to airline pilots, that is absolutely preposterous. Doctors go to school a sh*t-ton longer and certainly pay a sh*t-load more for their schooling than pilots do, so please, give me a break with the comparison to doctors. While we're at it, there are plenty more unethical, douche-bag doctors out there than there ever will be pilots....
*I am neither supporting nor disparaging the GIA program, since I don't know what kind of racket they have going on these days, but it certainly sounds worse than what it was when i went through. However, I got what i wanted out of it and can't complain.
