FedEx R24 Questions
I have R24 for the first time ever and was wondering if those of you in the know could answer a few questions.
1. Is the first day in a block of R24 days essentially a travel day? That is, the notification window starts on the first day so the earliest trip assignment would be for the second day.
2. If you deviate on the backend of a trip in the middle of a block of R24 days do you need to be in Memphis within 30 mins of scheduled DH block-in and make the obligatory, "Got anything else for me call"? For example, they assign a trip that shows in the same duty period as the arriving DH.
3. If assigned the HSBY in MEM and you are assigned a Trip, after blocking back in to MEM is your HSBY done, or are you released for less than 24 back into the HSBY. What if it's a IND HSBY and you operate into MEM? Does an APTSBY assigned out of the HSBY count as a trip assignment and if not launched you are back into 24 notice, or is it back to the hotel?
