This whole question actually got me thinking about when I did my commercial/instrument mil equivalency after UPT (2004). I don't remember if they asked for any documentation, but it seems like I remember the FAA considering the instrument training from UPT to be sufficient to bestow a civilian instrument pilot rating.

So I suppose that at some point in UPT I got a checkride that was actually useful for something.

I do honestly wonder where my UPT gradebook ended up. I'd like to frame some of those gradesheets... Priceless gems, those.
