The company has the right to do that at will just as much as if they wanted to merge us with a freight company that all of the other employees would have to put up with new employees over them even if they're not in their particular departments.

Imho, nobody complained probably because a) they didn't know and b) nothing could be done about it.

DALPA does not control how jets are allocated.

But they own the PWA and they recommended the pilot group vote it in.

Hence the need to Tebow for used and relatively new 717s. Our PWA as it is now is not going to take back scope and we're not sure a C2012 TA will do it either although we can hope.

But with 717s the company has a perfect airplane to deploy on a lot of markets and cut into the outsourcing just as much as high fuel prices will cut into DCI outsourcing 50 seaters.
