1000 is a good starting point but there have been plenty of FOs hired with (much) less in the past, particularly former ramp/cust service folks who transferred over to the flight side so you never know, all you can do is apply.
Also, Cape Air has internship programs with UND, Embry Riddle, and SIU. This is where a lot of the FOs are coming from. If you know anyone who works here, have them hand your stuff in. It seems to be the only way to get hired as an FO.
