Came across your thread and was wandering where this new job was based, i.e. USA, Europe or Middle East? I also work for a regional flying the EMB-145 but am on a "working vacation" flying for a company in the mid-east. The biggest difference between the Legacy and the emb-145 is the MONEY!!!!! Other than the MONEY, the range is much further and endurace a lot longer. I routinely fly 6-7 hr legs all over Africa, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Far East. Aircraft is on par with the GIII but no where close to the IV or V. All in all though, its a great airplane to fly. Say good bye to FL370 limitation, we usually fly 39-41 depending on the current weight. If your job takes you around the world be prepared for a different operating enviorment especially in Russia and Mid-East. Have fun and enjoy your new higher paying job!
