I retired from the Navy as a semi-senior officer and am wondering if I should down play that on my resume. Do you guys think people will see that and not think I am a good fit for an "entry level" job? I applied to Avenge and also Dynamic for an A&P position and got the "thanks but no thanks" E-mail. I am wondering if they looked at my resume and thought I might be overqualified or worse that I might not want to do the work and would need to be in charge and would cause problems. The opposite is actually true at this point and I am just looking to come to work, do my job and go home. I don't need to be in charge of anything if that is what the job is.

So should I re-write my resume?
