US Airways is making a ton of money right now because the pilot groups haven't come together. They would continue to make money with 3 pilot groups. I thought this was common knowledge?
Also the APA would steamroll USAPA in a representational vote in a merger even if USAir could get 100% westie support, which of course wouldn't happen. IOW, I doubt either side is worried about an integration. Merging with AA would actually help resolve the seniority list dispute and expedite the implimentation of a SSL.
