Worst short notice call I had was around 3:30pm one day. "Drop what you're doing, pack a bag (and we don't know when you're coming home), get a rental car and drive to XXXX for a trip in the morning, and you have to be there by 10pm to duty off." No big deal except that it was a 5 hour drive on a good day... that day there was a Winter storm across the Midwest with FZRA along most of the drive. Ugh.
