The only pilots interested in the DPA are our more emotional contingent. Anyone who takes an objective look at the industry realizes how well DALPA has performed.

Delta was in bankruptcy less than 5yrs ago with a pilot contract that was decimated. Yet in that short time Delta pilots are now some of the highest compensated in the industry. There's still a long way to go for a full recovery of lost wages and benefits. But to be above industry avg. with only the most profitable companies earning more, I'd say well done.

How many unions have been able to insert themselves into the merger process, SUCCESSFULLY? None come to mind. I expect DALPA to be a player, come the next merger. Well done!

The DPA gives no indication they would operate any differently than USAPA. They (DPA) are completely ineffective, selling pipe dreams, using half-truths and outright lies. Again, debating/bargaining via emotion over cold hard facts.
