Neither side can take action until Feb 9. The judge basically extended the 32 day "stay" by another 8 days. A few interesting points to consider though is that Delta has a appointment infront of the judge on the 7th and I have heard from numerous places that the 7th is a big day in Big D's bk proceedings. In the transcripts of the hearing on the 1st, the Creditor Commitee rep even pushed to move the 8 day status quo earlier so as to have everything in place by their Feb 7 appointment. What might this entail...only they know. Maybe Comair is buying Delta and switching to an all Q400 fleet.

Another interesting point...I received, via US mail, the company's terms that they intended to impose on the 2nd. That package arrived in the mail on the 2nd. When was this packet printed? Mailed? In light of this, the company is waiting to impose their own terms. Their is no up side to their new "contract". No pay increases, nothing. They have no intention of negotiating in good faith.

Again, this should be a fun week.
