CEO's don't directly denigrate another carrier/CEO like that just for kicks. This is Horton's "keep American my American" speech to rally the troops around his plan. US are the barbarians at the gate de jour. Their pay rates are scary, and it appeals the the little bit of Nordstrom-pilot pride in all of us.

The troops are irrelevant. Pilot pride will not matter.
You can be sure Parker learned a lesson from "Keep Delta My Delta".
He won't make the same mistake twice.
There won't be a public spectacle this time with rallies and banners.
Its all about the creditors' committee. They hold the cards and all they want is their money.
If Parker makes the best offer, he will win.
