Some things to consider when deciding whether or not to recall the “throw back three”.

I believe CB and TH goal from the start was to create chaos, manufacture issues, blame current leadership, take back control of the Union by misleading the pilots. This will turn back the clock 10 years or more.

IMHO, Willing to sacrifice pilot unity and our collective good for their own personal political interests.

TH: Got caught lying in open session at the October MEC meeting, in what appeared as coordination of effort between TH and CB Regarding uniformed pilots at shareholders meeting... in an effort to create dischord and blame the officers:

Accused MEC officers of disregarding a directive of the MEC, other MEC members and officers did not remember it that way. TH, on queue, stated that he heard exactly what was said, specifically at the August MEC meeting, and indeed the Officers disobeyed a directive of the MEC. Referred to his notes during this statement as if he wrote the exact time and who said what down…. Another MEC member then pointed out that TH had left by Wednesday of the August meeting and was not even there when the discussion occurred on Friday.

It was discovered that CB when he was Secretary Treasurer had been involved in giving his son in-law the FDX ALPA Merger Fund money management contract (He was a new investment advisor). There was no record of him informing the decision makers of this personal connection or prior to this discovery… and he speaks of ethical lapses now like he is as pure as the wind-driven snow.

CB and TH have made it clear through actions and writing that they wanted the MEC to make the relief valve decision against the will of the pilots and tell pilots little except the decision.

Argue that Stratton has some kind of Mister-Spock-mind-meld going on between all these committee members and that is why they support him. Yet also argue that he shows a lack of leadership.

That he has an iron fist to control all, yet is weak... I'm confused. Which is it?

TH: Demanded that the block 4 interim rep give him the proxy so that he could attend the August MEC meeting. He then left Wednesday and did not attend Thursday or Friday.

He then did not attend the first Special Meeting by Conference Call as a rep either.

Dress for MEC meetings is business attire. He attended the last meeting dressed in jeans and sneakers, sending the message: You all dress in nice clothes while I will do what I want.

Both sign their names to council updates attacking the motives and ethics of committee volunteers, then claim they don’t want to “vilify” them, but it’s a leadership problem.
All this communication using ALPA resources to send out mass emails leaving committee volunteers accused and unable to defend themselves.

TC: Argues that the rules on internet posting should not apply to him. He posts constantly yet argues for committee members who post things he does not like to be fired.

Ran for Office the time prior to this then bid Anchorage. Was gone the majority of the term.

Ran for this term with a Hong Kong bid award and did not inform pilots during the election. This term, he has been in HKG the entire time, advocates for HKG issues… while shortchanging his block?
