I have decided to try my hand at long range precision shooting, and have made this purchase to build from. The base is a Remmy 700P LTR (police light tactical rifle) .308 winny with 20" fluted hvy bbl, and I have a bi pod and 10-40X50mm illuminated scope on the way. As a primarily pistol and carbine shooter taking on the Long range challenge is going to be a lot of fun, I think. I will post more as I get her built out.
