Not sure how long to the left seat at brown but a narrow body left seat is taking about 7 yrs right now at purple. That rate is $200/hr. I think the f/o rate at brown is about 150. So, numbers wise, it allows for an intermediate step. There is something for everyone. Yes, you might have to go to one or two more training cycles but it is your choice. As is your choice to not apply to purple and wait until brown starts hiring since in your opinion they are so far ahead of us.
