I think as long as they put a magazine rack in the lav it counts as a crew rest facility.

But, does the range on the aircraft with actual payload get it into the crew-rest issue?

East coast to CDG or west coast to HNL are ETOPS, but don't need augmented crews, correct? Not sure about ANC-NRT.

ANC-NRT no for the MD. Fly EWR-CDG with just 2 guys also. IND-STN too.

There is a crew rest module for the 767. It is a Capt in a box type thing similar to MD11 size. It is loaded in the cargo area. It looks like a large Hazcan. Not sure if FedEx is buying them.
