FDX 75/76 Payrate?
#3
Not really. The 767 is a wide body, the 757 is a narrow body. This is defined in the current contract. The 777 grievance results support this. If the company whats something else they will have to get it through negotiations. IMHO..the 757 is a large narrow body and should pay higher. I say one pay rate, widebody. That's what UPS pilots are paid.

Simple...if the company wants a combined 75/76 category, give it to them for an all wide-body payrate. A win for both sides, and it helps reverse the slight of hand on 75 payrates that were backdoored over the euphoria of 380 rates. It also closes the door on UPS pay advantage over narrow body crews.
Ring up your reps and NC.
Best of luck,

Actually, only about 20% of our crew force is on the narrow body. Of which about 5% are getting passover pay. The majority of people on the 72/75 are there by choice. They could hold the wide body if they wanted. Maybe junior but still available. Just one example but it does allow for movement. Not sure how long to the left seat at brown but a narrow body left seat is taking about 7 yrs right now at purple. That rate is $200/hr. I think the f/o rate at brown is about 150. So, numbers wise, it allows for an intermediate step. There is something for everyone. Yes, you might have to go to one or two more training cycles but it is your choice. As is your choice to not apply to purple and wait until brown starts hiring since in your opinion they are so far ahead of us.

Think how much more mobility we would have with 8 payrates. That would mean there is more for everyone right?
That is what I am shooting for.
