Yes I really am a 767 Capt. Where the heck are YOU getting your schedule information?? One leg.......what a dreamer.

As usual, guys like yourself have clouds in your eyes and are completely forgetting why we do a job.......money! To enjoy it is a perk. I enjoy it,
but the money isnt there because of tools working for free, paying to fly an RJ, (Gulfstream Intl) working for wages that are below poverty.......
You know like scabs......take a mans job for less and no work rules....

Question my friend. What would happen to the RJ industry, which is dragging this whole industry in the dirt where we are, If NO ONE TOOK
THE 12K LOW PAYING JOBS?? Hmmm??

I hope you enjoy your career begging for scraps.

Wow is right but not for the reasons you highlight. Are you really this myopic? Here we have a young and enthusiastic person who has reached out for some advice and you burn down this thread with your frustration and disdain for young people who want to be apart of an exciting and, despite what you might think, lucrative profession. You really should get some therapy.

You expect these young and impressionable people to do the heavy lifting only to benefit your concept of reality and that viewpoint couldn't be more unrealistic. I would understand if you offered a less giddy perspective of our industry noting the idiosyncrasies of our profession and the impact of cycles and how one might be affected depending on where they are in that cycle. But to suggest that they are the problem only reveals your ignorance.

Maybe you should consider that grocery store job.
