I can understand how someone might have heartburn with being placed lower on the list than someone who was hired 7-10 years after they were. Outside of this blow to the ego, I can't see how anything BUT relative seniority is fair to all parties. Seems that with relative seniority all involved will be affected negatively, but if DOH is factored in, the UAL pilots will benefit at the expense of the CAL side. Please explain how relative seniority will benefit 30% of the CAL side.
