When UAL went through their bankruptcy and sought concessions from EVERY vendor they delt with, airlines with GREAT contracts (Air Wisconsin, Atlantic Coast Airlines) were forced to renegotiate their contracts and offer a more "competitive" contract to UAL. And which regional airlines did UAL covet, due to their lower costs (a whopping 30 percent lower than Air Whiskey & ACA, according to Bain Consulting)... Mesa, Chautauqua, and Trans States.

You've been taking food off of other pilot's tables for years.

And ALL of us regional pilots continue to do so.

Quit whining. Move forward. Open your eyes to what's really going on.
Very well said. Some of theses guys see regional flying as a career so it is hard to convince them on some of these points. Sad-- but true.
