[QUOTE=goaround2000;1144552]I love how some of you guys can't argue with facts so you run and hide behind the all regionals are evil argument.

Here's a news flash:

The majors gave up scope voluntarily in the 90's because they were too proud to fly 50 seat regional jets, so management ran with it. They opened the door.

gojets was specifically created to undermine tsa's collective bargaining agreement, like a scab.

So according to some of you this is ok because all regionals suck, right? Well in the grand scheme of regionals there are provisions in my contract that are better than even some of the majors, it's called holding the line. Instead most gojets guys are indoctrinated into thinking below average is good because that way you can stay competitive. Get a clue! And stop trying to defend a company that was created upon the principles of scabbing. (quote)

Let's agree to disagree. I see all regionals as nothing more than a stepping stone to a "real flying job" that pays well and takes care of its people. I do not know of any regional that pays well unless you are at 10--15 year Captain pay. And even then--you are still living the regional life as far as equipment, benefits, hotels, work rules, respect in the industry, etc....

Get your time and experience and move on. You will be amazed at how much better things are on the other side and how trivial all the regional drama is to the big boys and girls.
