Thus, gojets was created specifically to circumvent TSA's collective bargaining agreement.
By the way before we go any further, what is the point of an individual crossing a picket line? And how's that intent any different than working for company that was specifically created to undermine a collective bargaining agreement per management themselves?
The situation with gojets was so disgusting that both ALPA and Teamsters (aviation chapter) passed up on them, they rejected them. The current representation is the taxi cab union, the only ones that would touch them!
Everything I've posted is documented, what do you have to back up your claims besides wishful thinking?
OK junior, apparently you were napping during storytime, so I guess we'll spell a couple of things out for you here. Scabbing occurs when a picket line is crossed...so there is a big difference. As I said before, don't use big words you don't understand...and no, just because you think you are someting you clearly are not, you don't get to invent definitions. There are thousands of us who came before you and walked the line...you clearly haven't.
Second...go out to STL and find a Teamster from Local 618 and tell them they are part of a "taxicab union." Go ahead. When they're done with your schooling, you'll find out that GoJets is part of Local 618 AND represented by the Airline Division of the Teamsters. That's the AIRLINE DIVISION...not "chapter"...with over 70,000 members...who of late, have nailed down more contracts with pay increases, solid scope, benefits and other things for pilots and others than I suspect you have.
Everything you have posted is "documented?" Really? I have a dog that just ate a bowl of alphabet soup...I'm betting what comes out will have more validity and make more sense than what you've "documented" so far.
So far, your "right seat" sounds more like a window seat over the right wing...
1. Look up the website for the 618, and it's current affiliations and membership. It's not the same chapter that represents ALL the real airlines. Nice try.
2. I'm actually probably older than you, and I will venture that I have more time in the industry than you do.
3. You don't have to cross a picket line to act like a scab. Hulas himself admitted this was a maneuver around the collective bargaining of TSA, what does that make the pilots that consciously take a job under such working conditions?
4. gojets still has a subpar contract, particularly when comparing soft money, that's not even including the fact that 50 seat guys are making more money without including said protections.
Left seat for about 6 years now. Nice try again.
