That's all well and good when the company is doing well and making money. Give the guy a temporary raise while looking for the replacement.

BUT....

This is a company that has said it needs to cut costs and it expects the employees to sacrifice with either pay cuts or the complete loss of jobs. That's "sacrifice" to you and me. So where is the sacrifice on the part of Mr. Menke? Is he too good to sacrifice in lean times to pick up the slack with the loss of an executive or does he not consider himself an employee of Pinnacle?
