Not as a first year FO. But as 2nd year in a non-so-senior base, I think so. At least thats what many people I know are getting.
If not 17/18, definately 15/16. Still more than 8 days off (or less) that you'd be getting at Amflight.

Relax Brah, all I am trying to say is wake up and take another big swig of that koolaid that you've been drinking and realize the airlines are not what they are cracked up to be anymore!! the time of 18 days off/month and $250,000/year salaries are over. Unless you are at SWA, every mainline pilot that I have talked to says get out now while you still can. What is your plan B? Go back to school for something else. They complain about the exact same things that we at the regional level do, pay, schedules, QOL, retirement, you name it! So when United calls you next week for your big 747 interview, just remember it is going to be the same thing you've been doing except starting over at the bottom on reserve. Also, for your information, you can make alot more than $40,000/yr at AMF if you want to! until next time!

Piston, I have neither the time or the inclination to continue discussing this with you
Seriously, if you can't see how flawed your post is, then we are wasting our time.
Pilots will always complain. Even in the golden times, they still complained. All the mainline pilots you talk about complaining, still make 50-100-200% more than you ever will at Amflight. You talk like you want to spend your entire life at Amflight. If not, where do you want to go? Franctionals/corporate? Regionals will probably get you there faster than Amflight.

If you hate the current state of the industry so much, and desire weekends and holidays off, with a tremendous job security, why not get a government job? Maybe working for USPS....

If you want to make more money at Amflight you work 6 days a week. 4 days off a month, GREAT QOL!

By the way I know 2 XTJ FOs who regularly get 17/18 days off a month...and have 2 years seniority.
